Investinor Invests in Innotech Solar AS

Investinor is investing MNOK 51.7 in the renewable energy company Innotech Solar AS (ITS). The company focuses on enhancing output from solar cells.

Innotech Solar (ITS) buys its raw materials from a wide ranch of large, international solar cell manufactures; cells that are not utilized due to low efficiency. ITS’ business concept is to boost these cells in order extract more energy from them.

ITS' main product is competitive solar modules, a fundamental component in solar power plants. ITS is also engaged in construction and operation of solar power plants, giving the best financial return for the power plant owners.

In other words: The company's business concept is "greener than green". ITS provides clean energy by upgrading products from the renewable energy industry.

ITS’ competitive advantage is secured by a high-tech production process and low production costs. The company is continuously working to increase production volume and develop new technologies. This way ITS’ products will remain competitive in the future.

A Fast Mover
Innotech Solar AS was established in spring 2008, and now has 42 employees. Head quarter and production line is in Narvik, administration and technology in Oslo, the company has sales offices in Germany and China, and a project development unit focusing on power plants in Switzerland.

The production line in Narvik is expected to reach a volume of 27 MWp in 2010. Further expansions are already in process.
